Maya Jedlicka
Maya is the founding trainer of Cosmic Canine. Her passion for dogs and training lead to Cosmic Canine opening its doors in 2017 with the mission of helping to improve the quality of life for dogs and their owners.
Maya started working with animals in her first job as a vet tech over 30 years ago. In 2005, she began her formal training education with Tyler Obedience Training Club, training her own dogs and assisting with class instruction. Over the following years, Maya has continued to pursue her education in dog training through seminars, continuing education, and testing her skills in competition. Maya actively trains and competes in the sport of Schutzhund (IGP).
In addition to her interest in dog training, Maya received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Spanish, cum laude, from the University Texas in Arlington, and her Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
